Arterial Blood Gas Analysis
This workshop will provide a theory base for interpretation of an acid-base measurement. The workshop will be presented with sufficient depth to prepare a clinician for interpretation as encountered in the clinical setting. It will also review the causes and effects of an acid-base imbalance with emphasis on the role of the clinician in assessment and intervention of a patient with an acid base disturbance. Advanced Concepts in ECG Interpretation (Part 2)
This two day workshop is designed to build on concepts developed in the first workshop on Fundamental Electrocardiography and Cardiac Arrhythmias and the second on Advanced Concepts Part I. Part II Advanced Concepts will give a brief review of the normal ECG, axis deviation, bundle branch and fascicular blocks, as these are important to successfully interpreting complex arrhythmias. The major focus will be on aberrant verus ventricular ectopy, mechanisms of supraventricular arrhythmias and current management of broad complex tachyarrhythmias (BCT). Find out more
